5. Public question-and-answer sessionNearly 50 residents raise traffic, noise, light, property values, water, and the county's lack of authority. Commissioner Wade Scarbrough describes a reviewed plan for a full rebuild of Three Way Road to farm-to-market standard, adding that the county has not agreed to anything yet.

10. The Governor stops the clockAbbott sends a letter directing ERCOT to run a verification process before advancing any data center large load through interconnection. ERCOT announces it will not issue its Aug 7 Batch Zero classifications.
11. PUCT open meetingERCOT files for a good cause exception on the Batch Zero timeline. What comes out of this shapes whether 1,000 MW is available here at all.
